Third Coast Science is a not-for-profit organization with the single purpose of spreading scientifically grounded information to the community. Neither the Third Coast Science organization nor the members of our team earn a dime off of anything we do - we operate entirely on a volunteer basis because we believe in our mission. By making a donation, you can help us push for bigger and cooler projects, events, and programs.

Third Coast Science for You magazine is a not-for-profit that was founded in January 2016 by graduate students in the Life Sciences and Physical and Environmental Sciences Departments at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi under the premise of increasing public awareness on locally important scientific issues. It is our mission to disseminate local scientific research and information on locally important environmental topics to the Coastal Bend community by publishing a bilingual magazine.  We want to provide the connection for our community members to our local scientists and researchers!  Additionally, we hope that the magazine serves as a platform for local scientists to better develop general audience communication skills.
